"A"s is the North San Diego County Chapter of the Model A
Ford Club of America (MAFCA). Our Club is
also a proud member of the Model A Restorer's Club.
The Purpose of our club is for members to enjoy,
restore, preserve and protect the Model 'A' Ford automobile
and to foster a spirit of good fellowship and family participation
through the use and enjoyment of the Model 'A'.
The Model A is a historic part of our American heritage, and a landmark
in the development of the American
motor car. Our group provides a forum for the exchange of information
and ideas, and is dedicated to the mutual
assistance of its members in keeping our cars on the road. The love of
the Model A brings us together and
the resulting friendships and memories last a lifetime.
Membership is open to anyone with a
sincere interest in the Model 'A' Ford. Ownership of a Model 'A' is not
a prerequisite. Membership in our club, however, also requires its
members to be members in the national
Model 'A' Ford Club of America (MAFCA).
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of
each month in the Palomar Estates East Club House located
at 650 S. Rancho Santa Fe Road, San Marcos, CA 92078. The doors open at
6:30 pm for social time and
the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
Monthly meetings, however, are not our only function. We also
participate in weekend trips, one-day
trips, cruise nights, yearly banquets, technical seminars, regional and
national events, and much more
as we share our love of the Model 'A'.
